What to watch on TV tonight: Friday

Here are the shows that’ll be on your Twitter timeline this evening.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Adele at the BBC (BBC1/RTÉ2, 8.30pm)

Hello from the other SIIIIIIIIIDE! Prepare the tissues, because Adele’s about to make her first TV performance in around two years. She sings songs from her new album, 25, as well as old favourites, and chats to Graham Norton about her life and career. #AdeleAtTheBBC

The TV3 Toy Show (TV3, 8pm)

Warming us up for the main event next week (sorry, but it’s true) are Maria Walsh, Brian Ormond, and a host of cute kids. Expect toy mishaps, dodgy celeb appearances, and some of these kids from the auditions last week#TV3ToyShow

The Graham Norton Show (BBC1, 11.10pm)

Adele’s bumped Graham a little later on the TV schedule, but we’ll forgive her. Tonight, he’s joined by Tom Hanks (<3), Peter Capaldi, David Walliams, and Duran Duran. All the lads. #grahamnorton

Everybody’s talking about: Olly Murs

Band Aid 30 Recording - London Anthony Devlin Anthony Devlin

The singer and X Factor host has asked everyone to please just drop the gaffe he made on Sunday night, OK? Murs accidentally announced that Monica Michael was going home before the official result, and people went mad.

Speaking at the ITV Gala, he said:

I think you need to put it in perspective with everything that’s going on in the world. At the end of the day, I made a single mistake at a critical point in the X Factor which was massively blown out of proportion.

That’s us told, then.
